When he accepted the Republican vice presidential nomination Cheney declared that he's looking forward to working with one who can work for the accomplishment of goals through reaching across the partisan aisle and working alongside political adversaries in good faith and common goal. Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the child of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. As a 13-year-old, Richard Bruce and his family moved in Casper (in the US state of Wyoming) where his father was director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's land conservation districts.
