April Lockhart is a born on July 4th in 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm to write songs. At the age of seven April started taking guitar and piano lessons. This ignited her interest in writing songs. At the age of 14, April spent a lot of time to writing song ideas and practicing her music. The following months, she began taking notes along with her father to LA as well as NY. The month also saw her include other related topics for some of her friends dealing in the area of peer pressure disabilities and even teenage suicide as depicted in the song"Take" my Hand. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer with a growing following. She works with popular brand Ilia in partnership, in addition to being a lifestyle expert. The disability she has is part of her personality, but it's not all of the picture. So, Lockhart's Instagram profile does not shy away from her handicap, however it doesn't center around the issue neither. What message is it trying to convey? That we all contain multitudes that our identities are complex and that we are more than our physical selves. My goal is not to have an impact on disability, because I've many more things to contribute." It doesn't impact my everyday living. I still do all my normal activities and I've adapted to the limitations of my disability. Because it's an integral part of me It's a topic worthy of talking about. She admits that she has had periods where she was uncomfortable wearing certain clothing styles which exposed her arms.
